This simple method of applying pressure is used to advantage in many industries, such as high voltage electrical coils, consumer sporting goods, infrastructure, defense, and aerospace composites.
The uniform compressive force characteristics of Hi-Shrink Tape make it an effective processing aid for consolidating advanced composite materials. In addition, the tape can be used effectively for compressing, debulking, shaping, forming and banding of various composites. Hi-Shrink Tape is generally removed after application and is not reusable.
