Hi-Shrink Tape:

Hi-Shrink Tape: Perforated
Hi-Shrink Polyimide
Hi-Shrink Tape is available perforated with pinholes on 1/4" centers.
This enhances its ability to outgas volatiles during cure of Thermoset Composites. It can also be used in preliminary consolidation stages to bleed out excess resin.
Hi-Shrink Tape/Perforated is a vital tool in the consolidation of composites that require outgassing to ensure "void free" finished products.
The tape can also eliminate the time and safety concerns associated with the use of pin-type hand rollers.

Hi-Shrink Tape Potential Uses
By Industry
Defense and Aerospace:
Manufacturers use Hi-Shrink Tape in the construction of missile nose cones, composite periscope parts in submarines, and composite parts in the B-1 Bomber.
Electrical Motor Manufacturing:
Hi-Shrink Tape is used with transformer windings to hold tap coil leads and insulation in place during motor rewind, as the outer wrap for field and form wound coils, and as the outer wrap over resin banding tape during cure.
Advanced Composite Materials:
Composite billiard cues, filament-wound fishing rods, and composite racing motorcycle parts all take advantage of Hi-Shrink Tape's strength and compressive force capabilities.
