Put-Ups
Standard Rolls: 3-1/2" OD rolls wound on 1-3/8" ID paper cores. Not more than 1 splice in any one roll, and not more than 1/4 of the rolls will be spliced. Special put-ups and widths may be available. Release Coating of tape is available on request.
General Properties
Dunstone Hi-Shrink Tape is a post modified polyester film. In addition to its shrinkage properties, Hi-Shrink Tape has excellent mechanical, electrical, and heat aging characteristics.
- Chemical Resistance: Exhibits good resistance to the action of many chemical reagents, solvents, impregnants and varnishes.
- Flammability: Does not present a significant flammability hazard. The auto ignition temperature is over 900°F.
- Melting Point: 480°F
- Tensile Strength: Over 25,000 PSI
- Shelf Life: No appreciable shelf aging. No change of properties found after five years of room temperature storage.
- Storage Requirements: No special requirements.
